Our Mod, Our Rules

 

One year and a half after the last release of our Tactical Realism mod (v3.0), the staff and the modders/testers team are glad to announce, together with the New Year, the release of the mod =NO= v4.0.

 

 

 

 

While most of gamers complain about the missed issue of CoD6 (no dedicated servers, nor custom maps or mods) and are disappointed by the retro look of CoD5, the =NO= team is glad to introduce the latest version of her Tactical Realism (TR) mod, based on OpenWarfare.

 

Firstly, a little reminder of what TR consists of :

 

TR is adapted from classical Search&Destroy (SD), a gametype aiming to defend/destroy an objective.

Edicted rules and customization of various aspects of the game make the difference between TR and classical SD.

 

Our rules :

 

  • No blind nades.
  • No hopping.
  • No Rush > In defence, stay on red zone.

 

Hereunder you will find a non-exhaustive list of modifications applied to our mod :

  • Unrealistic perks (e.g. Last stand, Martyrdom, Juggernaut) are suppressed.

  • Creation of a “medic” perk (2x First Aid Pack)

  • Creation of a “explosives expert” perk (Only player able to destroy the suitcase once “stolen” from offensive team, or defuse it quickly)

  • Creation of the Smoke grenade x2 perk (Smoke spreads slower and stay longer)

  • UAV is visible in the air and can be destroyed

  • USP Parabellum in “H&K Elite 9mm Parabellum” configuration, including 15 bullets clips

  • Magnum 44 Smith & Wesson, 6-shot gun with barrel.

  • Glock 18, 9mm full-auto with 31 bullets clips

  • Desert Eagle: .50 version, chrome, 7 bullets clips, more recoil but more efficient at short range

  • Benelli gets 2 more cartridge, reaching a 6 cartridges capacity

  • ACOG and Red Dot are modified for more comfort and precision

  • M16 gets full-auto configuration

  • 2 different color dots are available for sniper sights (red and green)

  • Skins are modified for more equity (Rebellion skins were too visible)

  • Jamming weapons (low probability)

  • Zoom effect when supporting rifle has been suppressed

  • Better special effects for explosives (Hollywood grade)

  • Pressing the “USE” button is needed for picking up  the suitcase

  • Dropping the bomb or a weapon is possible (assigning keys in the menu)

  • When player is hurt at hand or arm, weapon falls on the ground
